St. Jude Ride! ... Accidents Happen

13th Annual Saddle Up for St. Jude Ride Thanks to David Tuggle for the invite! We really appreciated it and had a great time despite our mini "accident". There were great people, it was fun and a really great event in Yanceyville, NC!

To explain our "accident", my mom's horse was acting a bit funny so we decided to swap (because when it comes to horses, I become momma bear). As we were crossing a creek with a sandy edge it gave way underneath us. From there he could unfortunately not get his footing and slipped again, then again and right on top of me. We fell to the left, I was able to get my foot out of the stirrup while under water and the horse was okay too! We were very blessed, but it is a reminder that accidents do indeed happen!
